New Logistical Training Center

Georgia Institute of Technology will open a center for education in Costa Ria for the management of warehouses and logistics.

Georgia Tech Trade Chain Innovation and Productivity Center is designed for teaching alumni and company executives about bettering supply chains and logistics. Additionally, the center will have a strong focus foreign trade, according to the executive director of Tech’s Supply Chain & Logistics Institute to the portal Global Atlanta.

Georgia Tech is also considering additional centers in Latin America, beginning with Panama and Chile.

The center in Costa Rica will be located in the building of the Chamber of Industries and will open on August 20, 2009.
