New Hospitality Investments in Costa Rica

With a $ 15 million investment, Aloft will open in December its first hotel in Costa Rica.

Another hotel development will be built in an area of 25,000 m² next to the Multiplaza shopping center, whose brand is not yet defined, said Johnathan Raineau, representing EXT Development, developer of the project.

Both hotel developments will add 300 new rooms.

The Sheraton Hotel in Escazu which will be inaugurated on June 13, is valued at $40 million and has 172 rooms, 3 bars, 2 restaurants and a 1,500 square meter casino.

The new project located next to the Multiplaza mall on the Prospero Fernandez Highway, will open its doors in the first half of 2013 and will employ about 300 people.

The building is located in Santa Ana will be managed by Starwood Hotels & Resorts.
