Starting from October, Avianca is adding two new daily direct frequencies from La Aurora to the United States, and increasing the frequency of flights to Los Angeles.

The airline reported that flights to New York and Chicago will begin on October 28 and 29, respectively, both on a daily basis.
The statement details that routes to Los Angeles and New York will be served on A320 aircraft with capacity for 150 passengers: 12 in Business Class and 138 in Economy Class, offering a total of 2,100 weekly seats between Guatemala and New York and 4,200 between Guatemala and Los Angeles.For its part, the route to the city of Chicago will be operated using an A319 aircraft with capacity for 120 passengers, 12 in Business Class and 108 in Economy Class, making a total of 1,512 seats between Guatemala and Chicago.
The announcement comes after the direct route from Guatemala to Orlando was inaugurated on August 2, with a frequency of three times a week.

The new Avianca air route will operate as of October 30 of this year four times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
The Avianca airline reported that the new El Salvador-Cartagena route will operate using an Embraer E190 aircraft with capacity for 96 passengers, 8 in Business Class and 88 in Economy, offering a total of 768 weekly seats between the two destinations.

The airline also announced that it will add a third daily flight between Costa Rica and Guatemala, starting from the same date.
The Colombian airline Avianca has announced that as of September 17 it will run four flights a week between San Salvador and Chicago, United States.
Prensa.com reports: "The flight will be operated with an Airbus A319 aircraft, with capacity for 120 passengers, including 12 business class seats and 108 in tourist class, the company said."
