New Flight between Guatemala and Colombia

The airline Aero República has announced a new flight between Guatemala City and Bogota with stops in Costa Rica and Panama.

The frequency of the new flight will be daily from Monday to Friday and seeks to attract business passengers.

"Rudy Keller, general manager of Copa Airlines Guatemala, owning group of Aero República, commented that the market's demand for a new route to Bogota has grown due to an increase in corporate travel," reports Prensalibre.com.

The route will become be operated with an Embraer 190 plane with capacity for 84 economy and 10 business class passengers.

TACA – Avianca To Add More Routes

The company has began the process to fly between San Salvador and Bogotá.

The announcement was made by Roberto Kriete, president of TACA, who added that they expect the route to be active between July and September.
