A study of consumer interests and preferences in Guatemala, carried out by the Trade Intelligence Unit of CentralAmericaData, provides interesting results on the preferences and tastes of people who express interest in different types of products or activities.

The population with the highest average income in the country shows interest in bodybuilding, running, weight training and yoga activities. When each segment is analyzed, it is found that 5% of the population shows interest in bodybuilding, and of this group of consumers, 7 out of 10 are between 21 and 45 years old.

The interactive information system shows that Guatemalan consumers with high purchasing power are interested in computer memory, network storage and servers. When each segment is analyzed, it can be seen that 3% of the population shows interest in servers, and of this group of consumers, 7 out of every 10 are between the ages of 15 and 30.

The report details that German, Greek, Italian, Vietnamese, Middle Eastern and Japanese cuisine are of interest to consumers with the highest purchasing power in the country.
