New Business Between Nicaragua and China

The Asian company Datang Mobile will support the government in installing high-tech infrastructure.

As part of the efforts the Ortega administration is making to promote Nicaragua in world trade, a cooperation agreement has been signed between the Chinese company Datang Mobile, one of the most important in the global technology sector, and the government.

This agreement is intended to generate new investments in the country, mainly in the area of technology and communications.

In addition to implementing the new infrastructure, the company will promote the creation of a production facility providing technological materials, which aims to generate new sources of employment.

An article in latina.cu reports: "Ortega announced that aspects of this important cooperation with China will be presented in a meeting with the Central American presidents in El Salvador, on 20 August.

The Sandinista leader reiterated the importance that his government places on strengthening trade and financial relations with China and within Latin America and the Caribbean. "
