More Flights from Costa Rica to Houston

As of December 12th United Airlines will add a fifth direct frequency between San Jose and the George Bush International Airport in Houston.

From a statement issued by United Airlines:

United Airlines has announced it will increase the frequency of nonstop flights between San José, Costa Rica and its hubs in Houston, George Bush International Airport as of December 12, 2014.

This will make the fifth permanent weekly flight the airline on this route. The flight will operate 4 days of the week and will bound for Houston at 1:45 am

"The additional flight allows us to support country initiatives in terms of dynamism. Additional to meet the strong demand from travelers looking to get to Houston earlier to make connections towards other US, European and Asian markets, " says Salvador Marrero, Executive Director for Central United. "With this increase, United reinforces its position as the airline that offers the largest number of seats from Costa Rica to the United States."

New Flights from Houston and Baltimore to San Jose

January 2015

Southwest Airlines has announced it will be operating a daily flight between the capital of Costa Rica and the cities of Baltimore and Houston starting March and October 2015 respectively.

More Flights between Mexico and Costa Rica

As of November 3 Aeromexico will offer two daily and direct flights from San Jose to Mexico City.

Aeromexico together with the Costa Rican Tourism Institute, announced the addition of a second daily flight on the route San Jose-Mexico, starting from November 3, 2014, making a total of 14 weekly operations.

The airline Thomson Airways will be operating a weekly direct flight between London and Liberia, Guanacaste, starting from November 2015.

Nonstop Baltimore - Costa Rica Flights

September 2014

Southwest Airlines has announced that it will begin operating direct air routes between the airports of San Jose and Baltimore from March 7, 2015.
