More Flights Between Costa Rica and Mexico

From May 15 the Mexican low-cost airline will start operating its third frequency between San Jose and the cities of Cancun and Guadalajara.

Mexico City, April 19, 2016 -. Volaris (NYSE: VLRs and BMV: VOLAR), the Mexican ultra-low cost airline operating in Mexico, the United States and Central America, today announced the launch of its third frequency in San Jose, Costa Rica, and from Guadalajara, Jalisco and Cancun, Quintana Roo.

The airline ventured into in the Costa Rica market on September 10, 2015 with two routes to Guadalajara and Cancun, with a range of up to 14 connections within Mexico and 12 to the United States. Currently, both routes are operated with aircraft from the A320 family with capacity for 179 passengers, resulting in an approximate supply of 72 thousand seats per year to and from San Jose.

As of May 15, those interested in flying on this route may do so at the following times and frequencies:

Guadalajara, Jalisco San Jose, Costa Rica
(Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays)
-Departure from Guadalajara at 8:38 hrs., arriving in San Jose at 11:05 hrs.
-Departure from San Jose at 12:25 hrs., arriving in Guadalajara at 16:54 hrs.

Cancun, Quintana Roo San Jose, Costa Rica
(Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays)
-Departure from Cancun at 18:45 hrs., arriving in San Jose at 20:00 hrs.

(Monday Wednesday and Friday)
-Departure from San Jose at 12:25 hrs., arriving in Cancun at 15:45 hrs.

The low-cost airline Volaris has announced that from September 14 it will start operating three air frequencies per week between Juan Santamaría Airport and Mexico City.

The Mexican carrier Volaris has announced that from April 7 it will operate a direct daily frequency between San Jose and Managua from Monday to Sunday.

Volaris will have a daily flight every day of the week with departures from Juan Santamaria International Airport at 2:00 pm, arriving at Managua, Nicaragua at 3:08 pm. The daily flight will depart at 3:48 pm from the Augusto Cesar Sandino Airport in Managua and will arrive in Costa Rica at 4:49 pm.
