More Fast Food Closures in Costa Rica

Monday, March 2, 2015

The outlets which will cease operations are located in the Paseo Metropoli shopping center, Plaza Real Cariari, Santo Domingo and Heredia . These closures are due to the fact that these branches "... are not financially viable, they are located in areas which are not very strategic and have produced bad business results. " reports that the General Manager of Burger King Costa Rica, Mario Jimenez said "... In recent weeks there have been closures of premises by other similar companies. These four cases of Burger King have nothing to do with the reasons that these closures occurred. In our case, these premises are not viable from a financial point of view. "

"... The company asserted that despite these changes it will continue looking for the best locations to offer a menu of quick meals to its customers. Also, the rest of its branches, -29 of them in total- will continue to operate normally. "
