Mexican Businessmen Visit Guatemala

A business delegation will accompany President Felipe Calderón in his official visit on October 26th and 27th.

The delegation is composed by representatives of Maseca, Elektra, Interceramic and Telmex, among others.

Carlos Ibarrola Nicolín, Mexican ambassador in Guatemala, commented in that "Guatemala ... is the entrance for to Central America for Mexican products, and Mexico is the entrance for Guatemala to the United States".

Mesoamerican Business Meeting

The event will take place between 4th to 7th October 2011 at the World Trade Center in Mexico City.

The 1st. Honduras-Mexico Trade Grows by 342% Because of TLC

In 2008, Honduras exported $255 million to Mexico and imported $459 million, for a total of $714 million.

The figure represents an increase of 342% when compared to the $161 million traded in 2000, the year before the signing of the Free Trade Agreement between both countries.
