$4 Million in Moisturizer Maintenance

The Costa Rican Institute of Aqueducts and Sewers tenders the maintenance of moisturizers nationwide, under the modality of execution of works according to demand.

Costa Rica Government Purchase 2019LN-000013-PRI:

"The work consists of general cleaning, for which there must be trimmers, machetes, tweezers designed to remove garbage, objects, stones and any other element that is housed in the box or covers valve with no need to perform excavations for cleaning foot valve, the pin of the valve must be cleaned.

The moisturizers must be painted, and prior to the application of the primary treatment or finish paint it is requested that the surface of the moisturizer be free of impurities and other elements that affect adhesion and prevent the final appearance after the application of the finish paint from being adequate."

Reference Value: $3,568,228.

Deadline for receipt of bids: December 12, 2019.

The Costa Rican Institute of Aqueducts and Sewers is putting out to tender the supply and installation of hydrants for the Metropolitan and Chorotega regions.

"Requirements are for installation of steamer and multivalvular type hydrants, 100 and 150mm, in pipes ranging from 100 to 900mm, in the format of delivery according to demand. For this, the necessary branch extensions must be made in 100 and 150mm pipes to reach the places where they are required.

El Salvador Expands Water Coverage in Rural Areas

With a $ 137 million investment over five years the country will expand water coverage to rural areas.

Hector Silva, president of the Social Investment Fund for Local Development (FISDL), stated the program includes the study of water resources and expanding coverage to 82% of the population.
