Machinery Event in Panama

From January 18 to 20, 2018, manufacturers and distributors of construction, industrial, agricultural and mining machinery will be showcasing their products and taking part in business meetings.

The event is being organized by the Association of Distributors of Machinery in Panama (Adima), and will be held at the Atlapa Convention Center, in Panama City.

Participation is expected of companies linked to the sector of construction, industrial, logistics, maritime, mining and agricultural machinery nationally and internationally, as well as high-level speakers, who will be presenting to an audience composed of senior executives and renowned representatives in the sector of machinery from Panama, according to information provided by Adima.

Machinery: International Event in Panama

From February 5 to 7, the event called "Expo Machine 2020" will take place in the country's capital, where several types of machines, equipment, products and services from the construction, industrial, logistics, maritime, mining and agricultural sectors will be offered.

Chinese Industrial Investment in Panama

February 2018

It has been announced that the heavy equipment manufacturer Shacman will be setting up an assembly plant in the Colon Free Zone.

The information was provided by the Chamber of Commerce of Colón, whose representatives detailed that in addition to installing the heavy equipment assembly plant, they foresee accessing other markets in the region from Panama.

Tractor Imports from Brazil Up 24%

August 2017

In 2016 imports of tractors into Central American countries totaled $165 million, and the value imported from Brazil grew by 24% compared to 2015.
