Residential Developments in Central America

Apartment towers in the capitals of Costa Rica and El Salvador, and a horizontal residential condominium in Panama, are some of the housing projects that are planned for construction in the following months.

The interactive system "Construction in Central America", compiled by the Business Intelligence Unit at CentralAmericaData, includes an up to date list of public and private construction projects which are planned to be built in the short and medium term.

Details of some of the recently submitted Environmental Impact Studies:

In Costa Rica, Promotora Rohrmoser CR S.A. submitted an EIA to build, in the district of Pavas, province of San José, two residential towers of 14 and 15 stories respectively, which will house a total of 200 apartments. According to the study, the housing complex will include a building with parking capacity for 460 vehicles, and an overall investment of $15.2 million.

In El Salvador, Ingenieros Urbanistas, S.A. de C.V. is planning to build a 12-storey apartment building in Colonia San Benito, San Salvador, which will have 47 apartments. According to the document, the tower will have two parking levels, one level of amenities and the remaining nine will be allocated to the housing units. It is estimated that approximately $8 million will be invested in the work.

Mac Instruments Industry, Inc, submitted an EIA to build in the district of La Chorrera, in the province of Panamá Oeste, a residential complex that will offer 265 homes divided among lots with surface areas ranging from 160 m2 to 312 m2According to the document, the company plans to invest $5 million.
