The works which are scheduled to be carried out in the last stage of the hydroelectric project Piedras Amarillas include the installation of power transmission lines from Patuca to Olancho.

"The project will have an installed capacity of 104 megawatts at the delivery point (substation Jutecalpa) and annual average energy production of 326 GWh, which will be delivered to Jutecalpa substation through a 42 km transmission line", reported Laprensa.hn.
