Ronald Balndon, general manager of the National Livestock Commission of Nicaragua (Conagan), told Laprensa.com.ni that "... these variations are due to the fact that in some markets it is possible that at the same time in 2019 they have consumed different products compared to the current period, which responds to a dynamic of trade."

Blandon added that "... this does not mean that one product is not sold for another, but that it is the buyer at a certain point in time who decides which product to buy."
