This workshop focuses on PNL techniques to develop tools to identify when a person is lying, is intended primarily for arbitrators, mediators and trial lawyers, but other professionals can attend. Space is limited

August 6th, 2013 17:00-21:00

Hotel Best Western Irazú - San Jose, San José, Costa Rica

Words alone are the deceptive tools used against you. Actions speak louder than words and the truth is written all over our faces and involuntary movements can easily betray people. The posture, movements, voice and all the elements involved in it: volume, inflection, emotional tone communicate beyond words. All of which you will learn through attending this important workshop among crucial tools that will allow you to protect yourself, your company and your client’s future.
While you have some innate ability to sometimes recognize when you are being lied to, life has taught you that you are not infallible. In this 2 part 8-hour interactive workshop, you will learn the truth about lying, what questions to ask, how to ask them, what to look for, and how to recognize the meaning of your observations. You will acquire real tools, that you will be able to use right away.
This workshop series is focused primarily on the activity of arbitrators and litigators, as a mean to provide them with an invaluable tool to better develop their labor at the oral hearings they have to attend and direct. The interactive training to be received in this workshop will sharpen the capabilities of legal practitioners to conduct a cross-examination as never thought before in Costa Rica, and provide arbitrators with the abilities to read the body language of wittnesses, as a fundamental tool to evaluate the truthfulness of their depositions.
