Through a system that monitors in real time the changes in the interests and preferences of consumers in Central American countries, developed by CentralAmericaData, it is possible to project short and long term demand trends for the different products, sectors and markets that operate in the region.

In Guatemala, the interactive report shows that between February 23 and April 12, the interest in this type of electronic equipment collapsed in the digital environment, but since April 19 the number of interactions began to increase. Until the end of August, searches were still on the rise.

In El Salvador, the volume of searches online and social networks associated with laptops and notebooks reported a sustained decline since February 9, but stopped its decline on March 29 and since that date interest has been on the rise.

In Costa Rica, the interest being analyzed has been rising since April 5th, and this behavior continued until the end of August. Honduras is a similar case to Costa Rica, since the interactions associated with the issue began to rebound in the Honduran market as of April 5.

The interactive system details that in the case of the Panamanian market, the trend shows a sustained increase in consumer interest in laptops and notebooks, which began on March 8.

This tool for monitoring the interests of consumers in any country in the region allows companies to project demand trends and anticipate the changes that will occur in the various sectors and categories of products and services. This information system allows tracking of any product or category, resulting in an extremely valuable input for making business decisions in the new commercial reality.
