Jetblue Announces New Direct Flight Boston - Costa Rica

Starting November, the airline will add a new direct flight from Boston, in the United States, to Guanacaste, Costa Rica.

As part of the expansion of its services in Latin America, the low-cost airline will begin operating a new flight from 1 November from the U.S. city of Boston to Daniel Oduber Quiros International Airport in Liberia, Costa Rica.

"The company is also extending its coverage in the Caribbean with destinations in Puerto Plata, the Dominican Republic and St. Lucia Hewanorra."

"The President of the company Robin Hayes said to Bostonglobe.com that "JetBlue offers more direct flights to the Caribbean than any other airline, it is currently offering nonstop services to 13 destinations in the Caribbean and Latin America. ""

Costa Rica Keeps Recovering its Air Connectivity

Starting October 17th, JetBlue will gradually restart operations with the flight between San Jose and Fort Lauderdale in Florida, and from October 25th it will start operating the route between the Costa Rican capital and New York.

From October 28th the airline plans to reactivate the flight between Orlando and San Jose.

Starting this week Jet Blue began operating a daily flight between the Dominican city of Santiago and Fort Lauderdale, Florida, United States.

June 2015

JetBlue announced the addition of a second weekly flight from Boston and Apple Vacations will incorporate the Liberia Missouri-Saint Louis route, which will be operated by XTRAirways.

JetBlue will operate its second flight on Sunday in a A320 aircraft with capacity for 150 passengers, starting in January and to be maintained throughout the season.
