The interactive platform "Construction in Central America", by the Business Intelligence Unit at CentralAmericaData, includes an up to date list of public and private construction projects for which environmental impact studies (EIA) were submitted in September 2017 to the respective institutions of each country.
Details of some of the projects:
In Panama, Promociones e Inversiones Ciudad Atenas, S.A. submitted an EIA to build, in the town of Las Cumbres, province of Panama, a residential complex of 255 homes that will be organised into lots that are 10 meters wide by 20 deep. The project is called "Proyecto Ciudad Atenas" and according to the study, approximately $58 million will be invested in it.
In Guatemala, Proyecto CV, S.A. submitted an EIA to build a condominium of 260 single-family homes measuring 83 m2 and 110 m2 in the municipality of Ciudad Vieja, in the department of Sacatepequéz. For the development called "Sendero del Comendador" a total investment of $6 million has been estimated.
In Costa Rica, Gerardo Alvarez Herrera submitted an EIA to build, in Goicochea, province of San José, 12 buildings with 3 levels each, which will house apartments measuring 50 m2 and 45m2. The project is called "Quiriburi Vertical Condominium" and according to the study approximately $5 million will be invested.
CentralAmericaData provides information on construction projects to be developed in Central America, with details such as estimated investment amount, times and phases of the project, supplies and equipment that will be required during and after construction, water treatment, and parking structure, among other things.
