International Tender for Data Communication System
In Honduras, the communication equipment and computer applications for the reception, storage and automatic presentation of data collected by the network of hydro climatological monitoring stations are tendered.

Honduras Government Purchase LPI-100-009-2019:
"The project consists of the supply, construction, installation, configuration and commissioning of the Earth Station, including associated civil works. The Project includes a Control Center (CC) or office with operative computer system of servers, Software for Supervision, Control and Registration of Data; Modules; Database, Master Station WEB Service, Equipment and System of Communications, peripherals and related works.
The CC must be able to receive and manage the information collected and transmitted by the ENEE hydro climatological monitoring network to the GOES satellite (Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite) of the NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration), through a friendly, versatile interface in accordance with the requirements and needs of the Hydrology Unit.
The proposed monitoring network to be managed will be 43 stations, but a total of 100 telemetry stations should be considered for the CC. All communications must be received at the Ground Station and provide access at any other point through a remote console, in an easy and secure manner."
The National Institute of Electrification of Guatemala tenders the satellite link service in Band C for generating plants.

Instituto Nacional de Electrificación de Guatemala is putting out to tender maintenance services for the microwave communications equipment at the institution's generation plants.
Guatemala Government Purchase 7785356:
"Requirements are for a service of preventive and corrective maintenance of terminal stations, repeaters and peripheral equipment associated with the digital micro wave network, installed in plants, reservoirs and indicated repetition points.
Instituto Nacional de Electrificación de Guatemala is putting out to tender data communications links via satellite and fiber optics from the central offices to the interior of the country.
Guatemala Government Purchase 7139586:
"The communication for the service of communications links via satellite for the transmission and reception of data and internet services in the central offices to the interior of the country, must be independent and must form part of the network of the INDE, by means of a Virtual Private Network (VPN).
The National Electricity Institute in Guatemala is putting out to tender a service of transmitting hydrometeorological data in real time.
Guatemala Government Purchase 7009348:
"The hydro meteorological data transmission service will be contracted in real time, from fifteen stations distributed in the hydrographic basins of the Chixoy, Samala, Michatoya, Aguacapa and Los Esclavos rivers. Of the fifteen stations, twelve are meteorological, two hydrometric and one hydrometereological.
