From a statement issued by the Guatemalan Exporters Association (AGEXPORT):

The Department of Trade Promotion at AGEXPORT is inviting companies in the food and beverage sector to participate, on 18 to 20 March, in the leading event in Latin America for the retail sector, ANTAD Expo 2015 in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Expo ANTAD will feature a Guatemalan pavilion, comprised of agrifood, food and beverage products. Domestic entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to promote their products internationally, understand trends in trade and supply through lectures given by professionals, among other things.

Trade Fair for Guatemalan Companies

Invitations have been extended to food and beverage, manufacturing and plastics companies to participate the Guatemala Pavilion at the fair which will be held in Guadalajara from 16 to 18 March.

$62 million in Deals at Food Fair

During the AGRITRADE event held in Guatemala there were 1,700 business meetings between international buyers and Central American exporters, with deals $62 million.

Business Meetings Colombia - Guatemala

The union of exporters is preparing a meeting for May with Colombian and Guatemalan companies to look at opportunities offered by the FTA signed between the two countries.
