Businessmen Called On to Take Part in Trade Fair

In Costa Rica, the Chamber of Foreign Trade is coordinating the formation of a group of companies interested in taking part in Expocomer, to be held in Panama from February 28 to March 3.

According to details give by representatives from the Chamber of Foreign Trade (Crecex) to, "... companies that show interest in taking part will be granted a subsidy, which includes discounts on air tickets, lodging, ground transportation, tickets to the fair and organizing a business agenda with exhibitors."

"... Katherine Chaves, executive director of Crecex, reported that Expocomer continues to receive more and more interest, as in the previous year 9 companies, including 7 Costa Rican and 2 Nicaraguan ones, took part in the event."

Food Industry: Brazil - Costa Rica Business Roundtable

On April 27 a business meeting will take place in San Jose between Costa Rican businessmen and representatives of the industry of cookies, food doughs, breads and cakes from Brazil.

A Costa Rican delegation is preparing to see the products offered by the Rep. Dominicana in the fifth Agri Fair 2015 to be held in May in Santo Domingo.

The Caribbean country will also be showing its products to Costa Rica in order to "... promote the interests of Costa Rican importers showcasing the range of products they can offer." Currently fruit production in the Dominican Republic has grown five times more than exports.
