India Trade Mission visits Guatemala

Representatives from industries and commercial businesses will meet with Guatemalan peers.

Business meetings will be held on March 11th at the Camino Real Hotel in the capital city.

Yanina Rebulla, activity coordinator, told, "... the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of India in the country is organizing these business meetings in order to improve commercial relations between both nations, while supporting product exchange."

ProMéxico is preparing, for sometime in June, a trade mission to Costa Rica and Guatemala for SMEs from the sectors of fresh and processed foods, plastics, and the automotive industry.

According to Edmundo González, coordinator of ProMéxico (organizer of the mission in conjunction with Canacintra), "the range of opportunities in both countries is very wide and interesting for the food sector, both fresh and processed, plastics, automotive and foundry industries, and for this reason we are inviting small and medium enterprises to explore these possibilities. Indian Pharmacists Visit Guatemala

A trade mission comprising of representatives from 22 pharmaceutical companies in India will be exploring business opportunities in the country.

Organized by the Embassy of India and the Chamber of Commerce of Guatemala, the meeting aims to promote and facilitate trade conditions.

Panamanian Trade Mission to Honduras and El Salvador

Negotiations will be conducted in San Salvador on 30 and 31 May and in Tegucigalpa on 2 and 3 June 2011.

Salvadoran Business Mission to Visit Colombia

February 2011

A group of businessmen is traveling with president Mauricio Funes in his upcoming official visit to Colombia.

The visit is scheduled for the 23rd and 24th of February.

It is expected for the group of businessmen to participate in the tourism fair "Tourism Showcase ANATO 2011", which will be inaugurated by the two presidents.
