Increasing real estate development in Central America

A multi-purpose project in Costa Rica, works on aqueducts in Panama, and a condominium in Guatemala are part of the projects planned for the next months in the region.

The interactive platform "Construction in Central America", from the Business Intelligence Area of CentralAmericaData, includes an up to date list of public and private construction projects that are expected to be built soon.

Details of some of the Environmental Impact Studies presented recently:

In Costa Rica, Corpinsa S.A. presented the EIA to develop in Mata Redonda, San Jose province, a multi-purpose project, which will have a seven-level shopping center, three towers that will house offices, apartments and a hotel. In addition, it will have an eight-level parking tower and two basements. About $128 million will be invested, according to the document.

The National Council for Sustainable Development has presented the EIA for the construction works for the sustainable improvement of the drinking water system in Panama City. According to the study of the works, it is expected to invest $88 million.

Inversiones Pavalco S.A. has presented the EIA to build in Santa Catarina Pinula, Department of Guatemala, a housing complex with 10 single-family houses of two levels and three apartment towers of 12 levels each. The document details that a global investment of $16 million is estimated.
