Inauguration of Mexico - El Salvador Business Chamber

The initiative aims to contribute to strengthening trade and investment promotion between the two nations.

From a press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in El Salvador:

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hugo Martinez, inaugurated on March 29th in Mexico City, Mexico, the Mexico-El Salvador Business Chamber (CAMEXSAL), an initiative to help strengthen trade and investment promotion between the two nations.

Foreign Minister Martinez, who was appointed Honorary President of the Chamber, stressed the importance of CAMEXSAL as a project that will allow more business to be conducted on a bilateral basis, through promotion meetings in which they can share experiences and make presentations on issues related to the potential sectors for investment.

"By establishing this Chamber, we without a doubt will strengthen economic and trade relationship between Mexico and El Salvador, thanks to the participation of different business sectors, who with courage and tenacity will be able to identify the various business opportunities presented by this space," said the Salvadoran foreign minister.
