Imports by country  
In the first nine months of 2016 the main importer of goods for sports and physical culture in Central America was Costa Rica with $14 million, followed by Panama, with $13 million, Guatemala, with $11 million, Honduras and El Salvador with $6 million and Nicaragua with $5 million.

Monthly imports from the region 
Between January 2012 and September 2016, the month that recorded the highest monthly value of imports was November 2014, when the region as a whole bought $8.93 million worth of sporting goods, while the month with the lowest figure was April 2012, with $3.09 million.

Behavior of imports 
Imports in the first nine months of the year compared to the same period previously have grown steadily over the 4 years between 2013 and 2016.
