Iberia to fly 7 days a week to Panama

As of June 2, the Spanish airline will begin operating a sixth weekly flight and one month after that a seventh will be added.

The airline is to increases the number of seats available to 2000 per week on its Madrid-Panama City route.

"Ernesto Orillac, Deputy Administrator of the Panama Tourism Authority (ATP), expressed optimism over the expansion of air services. He said that increasing air connectivity is the only way to increase tourist arrivals to the country. "

Lufthansa Ready to Fly to Panama

The German airline has announced it will be ready to start operating direct flights to Panama City starting January 2015.  

Adding to the interest of other European airlines and responding to the increasing number of German tourists entering Panama, Lufthansa has notified the Tourism Authority of Panama (ATP ) that it is able to start direct flights to Tocumen airport in January 2015 and is looking to finalize the respective agreement under process.
