II Central America - Japan Business Forum

On May 25th and 26th Central American and Japanese businessmen will be gathering together in Guatemala City to discuss business opportunities.

From a statement issued by from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Guatemala (Minex):

Welcome to the II Business Forum SICA-JAPAN, "Towards a New Partnership in a Dynamic Global Environment", to be held on 25th and 26th of May 2015, in Guatemala City.

It is important to note that 2015 has been declared the "Year of Friendship", marking 80 years of ties between the Asian nation and the Isthmus.

During the celebration of the Sixteenth Forum of Japan-SICA Dialogue and Cooperation, it was confirmed that the Second Japan - SICA Business Forum would be held in Guatemala.

Food and Beverages: Virtual Business Roundtable

From 20 to 23 May, an online business meeting will be held with South Korea for companies in the food and beverage sectors.

The Secretariat for Central American Economic Integration (SIECA) coordinates the "Virtual Business Roundtable with South Korea," which is aimed at companies in the food and beverage sector, and will be conducted through the Central American Trade Network.

On May 7th-8th Colombian exporters of building materials and finishings will meet with companies in the region in Panama City.

The Foreign Trade Promotion Office of Colombia is organizing the V Business Roundtable on building materials and finishes, to be held in Panama City in the Ancon Salon of the Sheraton Hotel .

LAC Flavors 2013 Announced in Nicaragua

On 25 and 26 July 150 regional suppliers to the food sector will present their products to more than 50 buyers from North America, Europe and Asia.

LAC Flavors 2013: a Business Conference, to be held in Granada, Nicaragua, on the 25th and 26th July 2013, is being organized by the Official Agency for Investment Promotion and Export (PRONicaragua), the Superior Council of Private Enterprise (COSEP) of Nicaragua and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) via the Trade and Investment Unit (TIU) of the Integration and Trade Sector (INT) and the Department of Central America (CID) Mexico, Panama and the Dominican Republic, through its Mesoamerica Project.
