For this piece of information, the trend that showed the amount of Internet searches and mentions in conversations in the digital environment associated with different topics during the first quarter of 2021, made by consumers in Central American countries, was analyzed.

From January to March, Guatemala reported a clear increase in interest in weight loss products, alcoholic beverages such as beer and commercial real estate.

For the period analyzed, in Costa Rica, audio and video equipment, laundry services and boats for sailing were some of the items that consumers were more interested in compared to what was reported at the end of 2020.

In the first quarter of the year in El Salvador, the number of interactions associated with SUVs, vegetarian food and apartment rentals increased.

At the end of March 2021, in Honduras there was an increase in the number of interactions associated with spa services, air travel and clothing accessories.

In Panama during the first three months of the year, consumers increased their interest in topics such as motorcycles, vegetarian food and extreme sports.
