Household Appliances and White Goods: New Investments

In Costa Rica, the Gollo chain of stores invested $2 million in the opening of three new sales points in Guachipelín, Tibás and San José.

Representatives of the company dedicated to commercialize electrical appliances, furniture and other similar articles, informed that $1 million was invested in the operation of the store in Guachipelín, and in the stores in Tibás and San José, the investment totaled $500,000 each.

Nacion.com reviews that "... The sales point in Guachipelín de Escazú is 100 meters south of the Multiplaza roundabout, while the one in San José is in front of the northwest corner of the Plaza de la Cultura, in the heart of the capital, and the one in Tibás is 175 meters east of the Tibás Catholic Church."

The article adds that "... The company added in the report to the press that it continues to invest in improving its premises in Costa Rica. At the moment," said, "a store is being remodeled in Turrialba; in Sarchí a move was made to a better conditioned local for customers and the same will be done in Moravia and other areas of the country."

Regarding the transit of consumers in the Greater Metropolitan Area of Costa Rica, reports from CentralAmericaData detail that the corridor comprising from the surroundings of La Guácima, passing through Ciudad Colón, Santa Ana, Rohrmoser and part of Pavas, constitutes the area of approximately 69 km2, through which most of the people who have the greatest consumption capacity in GAM pass.

Appliances: Chain Invests in New Stores

For the rest of 2019 and next year, the chain of furniture and appliance stores La Curacao plans to open 40 new sales points in the region.

For the month of November, GOLLO is preparing the opening of new outlets in San Vito de Coto Brus, downtown San Jose, Palmar Norte and Santa Rosa de Pocosol in San Carlos. These new stores will generate 27 direct jobs.
