Honduras: Tender for Vehicle Registration System

Documents are being prepared for the tender in February of the design and implementation of a Vehicle Registry system, which will be migrated from the Executive Revenue Department to the Property Institute.

Monday, January 12, 2015

It is expected that late January will see the publication of the terms of reference and the specifications for tender for development of a system and support of the technology platform, which must be made within a period of six months.

Laprensa.hn reports that "... With this projection, the definitive registry could be ready and operating in no more than six months, starting from July, when it is established which company has obtained the concession, therefore the new technology platform will start operating no later than January next year if all goes according to plan. "

Marco Tulio Padilla, Director General of Registrations, Cadastre and Geography at the Institute of Property, added "... the company that wins the contest will have to do all of the design; obviously going from what we are conceptualizing, but more or less to give a reasonable time, in a maximum of six months. "
