Honduras: Couriers Registration Expires in November

Courier agencies have until November 7th in order to register at DEI.

The director of customs of the Executive Department of Revenue (DEI), Miguel Mejia, stated that appropriate sanctions will be applied in case of noncompliance, which can lead to confiscation of merchandise.

"The number of courier companies operating in the country varies from 50 to 60, since there are no exact figures recorded by DEI, however, they have been summoned for Wednesday afternoon, so they know of their obligations, rights and requirements for them to function and legalize their status,” the official said to Latribuna.hn.
