Honduras: Commercial Flights to Tela Underway

CM Airlines has announced that it will operate a weekly flight from Tegucigalpa to the aerodrome of Tela and from there to Roatan, plus two others to Copan and Gracias in Lempira.

Flights arriving at the airfield in Tela, inaugurated in May 2015, will depart from there to Roatan Island, along with the two other flights that CM Airlines plans to operate from Tegucigalpa to Copan and Gracias.

Daniela Gutiérrez, commercial manager of CM Airlines, explained to Laprensa.hn that "... these flights are new and only available on Fridays with departure and return on Sundays.'There will be three different flights with a frequency of once a week; in this way we will serve these three cities'. "

"... He explained that the three flights will be arriving at airfields these cities. On top of this airline are other businesses such as hotels and land transport that have decided to create accessible packages to invigorate the sector in these three tourist sites. "

Air Panama to Fly to Roatan

The airline has announced that starting from December 2016 it will be operating two direct weekly flights between Panama City and Roatan Island.

The flights will depart from Panama City during the peak season in 2016-2017 on Thursdays and Sundays, and tickets will be available for sale from November 1st.

Direct Flights to from Panama to Rosario in Argentina

Copa Airlines has announced new flight from Panama City to Rosario from 1 July 2016 with four weekly frequencies.

Honduras: The New Airport in Copan

The inauguration scheduled for March 10th has revitalized investments in the tourism sector, while three airlines are interested in operating three weekly flights.

The Río Amarillo airfield is currently 90% complete, test flights have been made and its official opening is scheduled for March 10.
