Guatemala's Trade Mission to Mexico

From October 22nd to 25th, 2019, companies from several sectors of Guatemala will visit Mexico, where they will have business appointments with potential buyers, institutional visits and supermarkets.

The trade mission, is part of the strategy of Commercial Promotion of companies in order to increase and potentiate the marketing of products and services.

In this sense, the Business Intelligence Unit of the Department of Market Development and Trade Promotion of AGEXPORT organized the Trade Mission to Mexico, which will take place from October 22 to 25, 2019 in Mexico City.

This is a multi-sector mission and seeks to detect new and better opportunities for Guatemalan products in the Mexican market, as part of the added value that this Trade Mission has, it has no cost since it has the support of the Ministry of Economy of Guatemala. Informed, Andrea Pontaza, Coordinator of the markets of Central America, Dominican Republic and Mexico of AGEXPORT.

Those who conform this mission will have the opportunity to have:

-Business meetings with potential buyers
-Institutional Visits

Additional Fact: In 2018, Guatemala exported to Mexico about US$506 million, reporting a 16% growth.

The mission, organized by the Guatemalan exporters' guild, is aimed at national companies focused on mass consumer products, who will have the opportunity to have business appointments with Dominican buyers, hold meetings with institutions in the destination country, and learn about market trends.
