Guatemalan Trade Mission to Mexico

Six companies from the food, agriculture and plastic's industries visited Mexico to present their products for export.

From a note from the Guatemalan Exporters Association (AGEXPORT):

Under the framework of the Mesoamerican Mesa proyect by AGEXPORT, 6 food companies, from the agricultural, foods and plastics industry visited the Mexican cities, Mexico City, Toluca and Puebla, and met with Fernando Andrade Díaz-Durán, Ambassador of Guatemala to Mexico, and COMCE representatives from that country, in order to present their export projects, and show their willingness to do business with the neighboring country.

SERGESA, ALIMENTOS HYH, PROGUALSA, DEINSA, CODEMSA and POLYTEC expressed their interest in doing business with Mexican companies, it being a natural market for Guatemalan products, and in addition, requested the support of the Embassy for any future efforts that they make in order to introduce their products into the Mexico market. Participating In the meeting was the commercial attache from PACIT , Jose Pedro Catú, who gave his complete support.

Agexport Organizes Business Conference Central America - Mexico

The event will be held on the 7th and 8th of November and will feature 20 minute appointments between sellers and buyers.

Mexican Trade Mission to Visit Honduras

Mexican investors who are to visit Honduras in June, will be looking for business in the agribusiness, education and furniture sectors.

The volume of potential investments would not be less than $20 million.

This was confirmed by Daniel Aguilar, regional president in San Pedro Sula at the National Association of Industrialists (ANDI), who explained that the visit is being managed through the newly created Mexican Honduran Chamber of Commerce.

Indian Pharmacists Visit Guatemala

September 2012

A trade mission comprising of representatives from 22 pharmaceutical companies in India will be exploring business opportunities in the country.

Organized by the Embassy of India and the Chamber of Commerce of Guatemala, the meeting aims to promote and facilitate trade conditions.

Panamanian Trade Mission to Honduras and El Salvador

May 2011

Negotiations will be conducted in San Salvador on 30 and 31 May and in Tegucigalpa on 2 and 3 June 2011.
