Guatemala’s Panifresh Enlarges Manufacturing Plant

The company will invest $2 million to double its hamburger bun production capacity.

Juan Carlos Paiz, founder and CEO of Panifresh, remarked the company will continue with its expansion plans in South America, especially in Colombia and Peru.

Sigloxxi.com reports: “Panifresh produces 50 thousand bread units per hour. This includes 12.000 English muffin units an hour, and 18.000 hamburger buns. In 2011, the company will invest $2 million to double its bun production capacity”.

Actex Upgrades its Production Facility

The Guatemalan clothing label manufacturer will invest $500.000 in machinery and equipment, and will hire an additional 50 to 80 employees.

This investment by 'Accesorios Textiles' (Actex), is geared to serve an agreement signed with textile company Denimatrix. For it, Actex will produce identification labels for Denimatrix's jean production.
