Guatemalan Hino Trucks Now in Cuba

Guatemalan company Sika Motor, which assembles and distributes Hino brand trucks, will now export to Cuba.

The company has exported 24 units to Cuba in the first seven months of the year.

"Cuba is a market with excellent opportunities for the sector and we hope that the market will open further," Danilo Siekavizza, president pf Sika Motor group, told

Siekavizza also mentioned the recovery of the Honduran market, to which a total of 120 trucks have been sold in 2010.

The company will start by exporting to Cuba, and selling the vehicles in several Mexican states, said Danilo Siekavizza, president of Sika Motors.

"We are expanding to the Caribbean and Mexico, based on our sales experience in Central America", said the executive, in a Prensa Libre article.

Purdy Codaca Motor to Sell Hino Trucks in Mexico
