The funding of the Institute for the Promotion of Insured Mortgages (FHA) will benefit some 20,000 property owners in already developed areas.

Sergio Irungaray, FHA operations manager, told, "The construction of the houses is made by a developer chosen by the interested parties or within a list of companies that we provide. There is a period of 20 to 25 years to repay the loan at an interest rate of 10 to 10.5 percent."
