Guatemala: More Investment in Vertical Housing

Two vertical residential complexes are being developed in the country's capital, one that will be in Zone 5 and will offer 385 apartments, and another that will be in Zone 15 and will house 24 housing units.

The Modus Vivendi company will build a housing complex called "Barrio 5" in the Saravia neighborhood in Zone 5 of the capital, which will be made up of two towers that will house 385 apartments.

In the two towers will be built apartments type A, with 25 square meters, whose living room can be converted into a bedroom, a mono-environment dining room, kitchen and bathroom. The apartment Type B, of 45 square meters, is composed of two rooms, and Type C, of 50 square meters, with three rooms."

Another project that is being executed is Torre Caprese, which is developed by Ubica Desarrollo and is located in Zone 15 of Guatemala City. This consists of the construction of a tower that will have 24 apartments.

Jacqueline Sherman, director general, explained that "... the design of the building offers floors from 160 to 260 square meters, with two to four bedrooms. Each of them has a unique design, looking for new market trends.

Vertical Housing: New Investment in El Salvador

Grupo Roble began building a 15-story residential tower in the country's capital, which will house 96 apartments and is expected to be ready by the end of 2020.

According to the directors of the real estate company, the building called "Altos Tower" that is located on the extension of the Alameda Juan Pablo II of San Salvador, will have a parking lot with capacity for 224 vehicles.

Vertical Housing: $12 Million Investment Announced

April 2019

A 105 apartments building distributed in 12 levels is planned in the sector of La Villa, in Zone 14 of Guatemala City.

The project will be developed by the Conceptos Urbanos company, and will have amenities such as a lounge room for family or business meetings, a social room, a coworking center, a fitness center and a recreational space for children.

Guatemala: New Apartment Complex

January 2019

In the coming months, a complex consisting of five residential towers that will house 135 apartments is planned to be built in Zone 16 of the country's capital.

HS International S.A. presented the environmental impact study to develop the project called "Boreal Residences Phase I", which consists of the construction of four towers of 21 levels that will house 40 apartments each, and another building of 16 levels that will house 15 apartments.

Guatemala: Mixed Property Development for $10 million

August 2015

Reconstruction has been announced of the former Hotel Ritz in Zone 1 of the capital, to turn it into two towers each with 180 apartments, a business center and shops.

With an investment of $10 million the company Revive, a company member of Modus Vivendi aims to develop a mixed complex that combines residential and commercial spaces, plus a business center which in the future will house the Ritz hotel, in the capital's historic center.
