Guatemala: Mixed Real Estate Development for $261 million

A residential complex is to be built in Santa Catarina Pinula which will consist of single-family homes and apartment towers, with a total area of ​​200 hectares.

The report "Construction Project in Guatemala July-2016" by notes that the developer Inversiones Pavalco, S.A. submitted to the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources (MARN) an Environmental Impact Study for a project called "Plan Maestro del Proyecto Habitacional Legado del Bosque, Finca Las Cumbres de Vista Hermosa, Santa Catarina Pinula".

The project site area is approximately 200 hectares, with accesses through zone 16 Guatemala City or through Santa Rosalia La Laguna, Santa Catarina Pinula. The Master Plan proposes the conservation of 124 hectares of forest and the remaining space will be devoted to the development of 766 irregular lots for the construction of houses, apartment buildings, a clubhouse and a commercial area.

The complex will feature streets, potable water through mechanical wells, a drainage system with sewage treatment plant, storm drains, electricity, cable TV, telephone lines, etc. The development of the urbanization and construction proposed in the Master Plan is projected to take 15 years.  

According to the document, the total amount of investment will be $261,092,202.

Panama: Residential Development for $26 million

November 2015

Plans are underway to build a complex of middle income town houses in an 30 hectare area in the district of Chepo, Province of Panama.

In the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for the "RESIDENCIAL QUINTAS DE TANARA" project, presented by Viviendas de Calidad, S.A. to the Ministry of Environment of Panama in August 2015, it is indicated that the plan is to build medium income single family houses.
