Guatemala: Investment in Mixed Use Project

The Íntegro business group announced that it will build a mixed-use real estate complex in Zone 11 of the country's capital, which will house 675 apartments and will also have commercial spaces.

The project is called Villa Mariscal and will consist of four totally autonomous towers. Each building will have its own gym, coworking area, meeting areas and rooftop.

Íntegro executives specified that the first tower will begin construction in August 2021 and will be delivered in its entirety in July 2022. This building will have 15 one-bedroom apartments, 77 two-bedroom apartments and 32 three-bedroom apartments, for a total of 124 apartments.

Jorge Mario Figueroa, CEO of Integro, told that "... the project will last three to four years and we expect it to generate around 1,500 jobs. It is a project with 86,900 square meters of construction."

The article adds that "... this project is aimed at families with members between 30 and 45 years old, university students and young adults who are looking for a housing option with amenities, convenience, excellent location and different entertainment, health and sports options."

On December 27, 2019, construction began on Céntrico, which will be located in Zone 5 of Guatemala City and will consist of four towers, which will house 495 apartments and commercial premises.

The company CAMPO CHIC SA submitted to the National Environmental Authority of Panama in October an environmental impact study for the development of a residential complex consisting of eight apartment buildings called LUA AT RIO MAR in David, Chiriqui.
