Guatemala: Annual Inflation 2.58% up to April

In April, the consumer price index recorded a rise of 0.34%, explained in most part by a rise in the categories of Food and Restaurants .

From a report on inflation by the National Institute of Statistics of Guatemala (INE):

The Consumer Price Index for April 2015 stood at 118.66, recording a monthly variation of 0.34%, and compared to April last year the change was 2.58%.

The most important results up to April 2015 are as follows: one month rate of 0.34%, annual rate of 2.58%, and accumulated rate 0.51%.

Honduras: Annual Inflation up to September 2016 is 2.90%

October 2016

In September the consumer price index recorded a rise of 0.17%, placing inflation accumulated so far this year at 2.90%.

The Central Bank of Honduras reports that in September 2016, monthly inflation measured by the change in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) was 0.17%, which is higher than the amount twelve months earlier (-0.21% ). This behavior is mainly explained by the increase in fuel prices in the local market.  Annual inflation stood at 2.90% (2.76% in September last year) and accumulated inflation stood at 2.90%.

Guatemala: Annual Inflation in December 2015 is 3.07%

January 2016

In December, the consumer price index recorded a rise of 0.43%, accumulating between January and December inflation of 3.07%.

The monthly (0.43%), cumulative (3.07%) and annual (3.07%) variation, recorded an acceleration in the price level relative to the amounts observed in December 2014.

Honduras: Annual Inflation 3% up to August 2015

September 2015

In August the consumer price index recorded a rise of 0.03%, placing accumulated inflation in the year to 2.57%, down from 5.29% as at August 2014.

From a statement issued by Banco Central de Honduras:

The monthly variation of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) in August was 0.03%; this slowdown is mainly caused by the decrease in fuel prices, red beans and supply of electricity.

Communications, food and beverages and residential rents were the consumer groups which grew the most during the year.
