The Salvadoran company Cadejo Brewing Company has announced the opening of its first restaurant in Guatemala City, in which it will offer local dishes and its line of craft beers.

The Salvadoran brand of craft beers entered the Guatemalan market in 2016, and representatives from the company reported that the restaurant will be inaugurated this week and will be located in zone 10 of Guatemala City, in front of the Plaza Fontabella shopping center.
Regarding the services on offer at the new establishment, Prensalibre.com explains that "... The restaurant will feature local dishes and will make available to customers six signature beers: Negra, Mera Belga, Roja, Hija de Pooh, WAPA and La Suegra.In addition, there will be four seasonal varieties in bottles and on tap."
The article reports that "... Currently, the brewery's production plant, which has an annual capacity of up to 12,000 hectoliters (100,000 boxes), is operating at half capacity.Of its total production, which ranges between 5,000 and 6,000 hectoliters per year, 50% is consumed inEl Salvador and the rest is exported."
The new location in which Friday's invested $150,000 is located in Los Yoses, east of the capital, and has the capacity to serve 180 people, but because of health restrictions it is only half full at the moment.
Previously, Friday's served its clients in San Jose in the La Bandera traffic circle, San Pedro de Montes de Oca, but, because its property was expropriated in 2019 due to the construction of a viaduct, the company was forced to close its operations in that location.
After investing $26 million in the expansion of its beer plant in San Pedro Sula, Cervecería Hondureña plans to increase its production from 1.6 million to 2.6 million hectoliters.
The brewing company, a member of conglomerate AB Inbev, inaugurated its modern production plant this week, with the capacity to pack 50,000 bottles per hour, and which will have a storage space of 14,000 m2.
With an investment of close to $7 million, El Zapote Brewing Company was inaugurated, a company that will produce and market six types of craft beers in the local market.
The company will have production capacity of 2,500 liters per brewing session. They plan to market the product in supermarkets and local restaurants, in presentations of 20-liter barrels and 12-ounce bottles.
The first shipment of one thousand boxes and 100 barrels of craft beer from the Cadejo Brewing Company will be sent to Maryland, Washington.
The six varieties of craft beer produced by the Cadejo Brewing Company will be distributed to 95 outlets in Maryland.The company's aim is to expand the market progressively in the cities where the largest number of Salvadorans reside.
