Through a system that monitors in real time the changes in the interests and preferences of consumers in the countries of Central America, developed by CentralAmericaData, it is possible to project short and long term demand trends for the different food, beverages, products, services, sectors and markets that operate in the region.

In Costa Rica, the volume of Internet searches and social networks associated with alcoholic beverages reported a sustained decline since February 16, but stopped its decline on July 19 and since that date interest has recovered.

In Panama the interactive report shows that between January 5th and March 1st of this year in the digital environment, the interest for this type of drinks collapsed, but since March 8th the amount of interactions began to increase. Until the beginning of September, searches continued to rise.

In Guatemala, the interest under analysis has started to recover since April 12, a behavior that continued until the end of August. El Salvador is a similar case to Guatemala, as the interactions associated with the issue began to rebound on May 31st.

The interactive system details that in the case of the Honduran market, the trend shows a sustained increase in consumer interest in alcoholic beverages, which began on March 29.

This tool for monitoring the interests of consumers in any country in the region allows companies to project demand trends and anticipate the changes that will occur in the various sectors and categories of products and services. This information system allows tracking of any product or category, resulting in an extremely valuable input for making business decisions in the new commercial reality.
