The organizers are in Central America to call on companies from the Central American horticultural sector to participate in the event to be held in Germany.

From a press release issued by the Guatemalan Association of Exporters (Agexport):

Representatives from the most important fruit and vegetable commercial event, Fruit Logistica, to be held in Berlin, Germany in 2015, with the support of AGEXPORT, the Guatemalan German Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Messe Berlin, made the official invitation from Guatemala, Latin American to entrepreneurs inviting them to participate in the horticultural trade fair which opens doors for agricultural business in Europe and the world.

Fruit Logistica organizers, during their tour of Latin America, held appointments in Guatemala with Guatemalan entrepreneurs from the horticultural export sector, where the representative of the Dutch company, Total Exotics unveiled the importance of production such as Guatemala's being present at this international event not only because of its role in supplying the food industry, but also for final consumption and distribution channels such as restaurants and hotels.

In the seventeenth edition of Expo & Conference AGRITRADE, 1,708 appointments were scheduled between international buyers and exporters / producers in Central America.

Ten Guatemalan companies closed deals for $7 million in the Fruit Logistica fair in Germany.

Agricultural entrepreneurs managed to make 53 new contacts after holding 87 business appointments.

Agexport Organizes Business Conference Central America - Mexico

The event will be held on the 7th and 8th of November and will feature 20 minute appointments between sellers and buyers.

The activity will take place at the Hotel Intercontinental in Guatemala and is intended to facilitate contacts between national and international participants, promote brands and open new markets.
