Four Offers to Supply Jet Fuel

Consorcio Menzies Aviation, CLH Aviación S.A., Consorcio Allied Aviatión, and Consorcio Latam and Aviation Logistics submitted bids in the tender to supply aviation fuel at Tocumen International Airport.

From a statement issued by Tocumen International Airport:

Panama, July 31, 2017. Tocumen International Airport held on Monday an act to receive technical and economic proposals from companies interested in supplying lubricant and jet fuel.

Among the companies that submitted their proposals are: Consorcio Menzies Aviation, CLH Aviación S.A., Consorcio Allied Aviation, and Consorcio Latam and Aviation Logistics.

After this act of presenting proposals, an evaluation committee will be in charge of studying proposals that meet the technical requirements demanded in the tender conditions drawn up by Tocumen International Airport.

The winning company will provide an aircraft fuel supply service for the next 10 years at the airports: Tocumen International Airport, Scarlett Martinez de Río Hato International Airport, Enrique Jiménez de Colón International Airport, Panama Pacifico International Airport, Enrique Malek International Airport in David and the future Terminal 2 (T2).
The average daily fuel consumption of the 40 airlines currently operating at this airport stands at 600,000 gallons per day.

Copa Airlines Buys Aircraft for $6.6 billion

The contract is for 61 Boeing 737s MAX 8 and 9, though details on deadlines for delivery are not known.

7 Companies Bid for Airport Terminal in Panama

January 2011

Seven companies have expressed interest in construction of an airport terminal for private planes at Tocumen.

The company that wins the project will make an initial investment of $ 2 to $ 3 million.

Companies like Universal Signature, Aerosupport and Million Air of the United States have shown interest in participating in the bid, which will be held on January 15th.
