The market study "Food for Shrimp in Central America", prepared by the Trade Intelligence Unit of CentralAmericaData, details the main figures of the shrimp food import business and exports of the seafood in question.

The study details that in the Costa Rican market, Nutrimax Pecuaria S.A. and Vitaminas y Minerales S.A., are two of the main importers of shrimp food, while in Guatemala the participation of companies like Premezclas Latinoamericanas S.A. and Agribrands Purina is registered.

In the case of shrimp exports, the report states that last year some of the main exporting companies were Productos Mixtos S.A. and DSM Nutritional Products, among others.

The report includes relevant information on the market size of foreign purchases of shrimp feed, participants, evolution of imports, market share by brand, shrimp exports, consignees, main destination markets, among other details.
