Which Contractors Build Hospitals in Central America?

Constructora Nova, Constructora Delgado and Corporación Noble are three of the firms that have been awarded contracts to develop construction works for public health institutions in the countries of the region.

Figures from the information system "Public Purchases in the Health Sector", developed by the Trade Intelligence area of CentralAmericaData, lists the companies that have been favored with contracts to provide pharmaceutical products and medical supplies, in tenders published between July 2017 and June 2018, by the different Ministries of Health and Social Security of Central American countries.

In Panama, Constructora Nova S.A. and Thelmar Panamá S.A. are two of the main infrastructure builders of the Ministry of Health for the months concerned.

In Costa Rica, the Social Security Fund reported that among the main companies that won tenders to build hospital facilities are Constructora Gonzalo Delgado S.A., Constructora Navarro y Áviles S.A. and Consorcio Van Der Laat y Jimenez.

In El Salvador, the main builders of the health sector for the period concerned were RC Conociv S.A. and Corporación Noble S.A.
