Ramon Martinez, Minister of Commerce and Industry, explained that among the results achieved through this trade agreement is immediate access to the Israeli market for agricultural products such as: frozen beef and burgers, palm oil, cassava, rum and vinegar. Seafood such as sole, albacore, codfish, fresh tilapia, and lobster, among others. As well as industrial products such as soap powder and paste, cement and aluminum profiles.

Manuel Ferriera, of the Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture of Panama (Cciap), told Elcapitalfinanciero.com that "... this initiative has the backing of the private sector, as it corresponds to what the country longs for in terms of benefits from international trade agreements."

Reda Mansour, Israel's ambassador in Panama, explained that "... both countries are fortunate, Panama's great potential to be Israel's regional hub. What the agreement seeks is not to make huge exports but that two small countries can create huge exports for large countries, about the trade relations that exist between the two nations.
