Export of Salvadoran Morinda Cirtifolia to Europe

The Inversiones Innovadoras Company will export food derived from Noni (Morinda Citrifolia) to Germany, Spain, the United States, Australia, and Guatemala.

Tuesday, June 9, 2009

Inversiones Innovadoras, belonging to the entrepreneur Anabel Tinoco de Meza, has already exported a shipment of 150 quintals of noni juice and puree valued at approximately $38,000 to Taiwan. The company has sufficient raw material, coming from some 2,000 producers, to begin to send the product to other countries around the world.

According to Elsalvador.com, Tinoco Meza added, "that the fight from now on will be to convert 60% of those who are still using fertilizers and agricultural chemicals on their crops into organic producers because one of the conditions to export to Taiwan is for the products to be organic."
